BOBBY’S SERVICE AS SENIOR SPECIAL AGENT WITH THE US DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE

Between 1995 and 2016, Bobby served as a law enforcement professional where he specialized in crimes against the government which includes organized crime, money laundering, drug trafficking and gangs. He was a certified Department of Justice Instructor with other certifications and trainings reserved for the US government’s most elite personnel. His professional endeavors afforded him the opportunity to travel extensively to all 50 of the United States of America. A fluent speaker of the Spanish language, Kimbrough’s diverse background has opened doors for work internationally; He was a member of the Foreign Operations Group which functioned throughout the Caribbean. Kimbrough is known throughout the region by local, state and federal law enforcement for his interview skills, techniques and results.

Bobby F. Kimbrough, Jr. has the experience and values the people of Forsyth County, North Carolina need in their Sheriff. Bobby has intentionally climbed the ranks in law enforcement to have a direct impact on the lives of individuals and families throughout his city, his community, his county, his country. Just as he has his entire career, as Sheriff, he will put the people of Forsyth County and their safety first.

BOBBY’S BEGINNINGS AND HIS FAMILY

 Born and raised in in Forsyth County, Bobby attended graduated from North Forsyth High School. Among his accomplishments, he considers being a single parent raising seven boys to be responsible, respectful, reverent young men his absolute greatest. Three of his sons attend Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and two are enrolled at Winston-Salem State University. Bobby III, Jamesen, Jordan, Bryce, Christian, Jalen and Isaiah. Bobby was husband to the late Clementine Kimbrough for 15 years. Bobby is humbled that his legacy shall be continually perpetuated through his biological and professional lineage.

As Senior Senior Special Agent, Bobby accomplished the following:

a.. Leader of Foreign Operations Group (FOG) in Haiti and Dominican Republic.

b.. Trained and vetted foreign nationals on investigative techniques and working knowledge.

c.. Guided Heads of State, Government Executives and Country Ambassadors on safety and security procedures.

d.. Developed systems to safeguard persons, property, resources and intelligence information.

e.. Identified internal and external threats and created preventative and intervention countermeasures.

f.. Provided briefings and debriefings to country officials and other government employees and officials including providing strategies when threats became imminent.

g.. Developed and managed budget to include reporting and controls according to government standards.

a.. Certified Government Instructor for Employee Assistance Program, Search and Rescue, Avoiding and Detecting Threats, Management of Hostile Individuals and Situations, Interviewing and Interrogation, Dissemination of Information.

b.. EEO Counselor handling disputes, encouraging resolution before complaints reach divisional level.

c.. Represent Department in relationship development to include connections with university leaders, elected officials, city executives and law enforcement. Bridge the gap between citizens and law enforcement.

d.. Conduct complex conspiracy investigations spanning local, regional, national and worldwide.

e.. Testified more than 90 times in court, team produces more case investigations than any other department in region, directed more than 60 complex investigations, seized and salvaged hundreds of millions of dollars in assets and property.

BOBBY’S COMMUNITY SERVICE

As an active community leader, Bobby creates and leads mentoring and training programs throughout the country:


· Collaborates with law enforcement agencies to provide training to officers to survive in both their personal and professional lives.

· Partners with religious entities and community groups to provide safety and security training for churches and places of worship

· Coordinates and sponsors sports programs to enhance the development of youth in the community including more than 16 schools inside and outside of the county.

· Provides training to high schools students and members of public service organizations on how to interact with law enforcement in a traffic stop.

· Shares expert commentary on how to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community for safer interactions.

· Raises money for scholarship funds and educational programs for youth.

· Partners with middle schools and high schools to provide mentoring programs.

· Bobby is the author of three books designed to share his experience in order to help others.
